At the IAPS National Prep School Judo Competition held in March 2007 six boys entered from our classes at Lanesborough School in Guildford.

This meant four national medals from a mainly recreational club.

The school has recently started classes at St Albans Catholic Primary School, Molesey, Surrey and at Newport Leisure Centre, Newport, Gwent, Wales. Both are open to public membership, so for example, children can attend the Molesey classes even if they do not attend this primary school.

From September three new Tora-Kai schools are expected.
Trafalgar Infants School, Twickenham, Middlesex,
Hampton Court House School, Hampton Court, Surrey
Staines Preparatory School, Staines, Middlesex.

Congratulations To Marathon Man!

Adrian Pearman managed to survive his first London Marathon which he managed in five hours thirty six minutes, raising £1,200 for the Neuro Fibromatosis Association.

Neurofibromatosis is one of our most common genetic disorders, affecting 1 in every 2,500 people worldwide including 25,000 in this country alone.
It can affect any family, with no previous history of neurofibromatosis.
