Kingston-on-Thames Dragon Boat Race |
|
Tora-Kai entered a team of rowers,
consisting of judo instructors and
their friends, in the Kingston upon
Thames DRAGON BOAT race held on the
19th of July at Canbury Gardens. |
|
The weather although windy was kind
to us. On arriving we realised that
there were not many teams who had no
experience at all! |
|
This was proved without a doubt in
our first race when we came last out
of the 34 teams. However we improved
cutting 15 seconds off our first
attempt. No we didn't win, we came
about 27th, but a really enjoyable
day raising money for charity . |
